LUCKNOW WATER TANK

We did the quality assurance inspections during the coatings and lining application for the new water tank. After inspection, we develop a recommendations document with specifications outlining the strategy for the sorting system application:

Shot blasted and coated plates before erection.
Completed the coating system on the exterior tank walls and ground-level cone before raising the tank.
After raising the tank, abrasive blasted and lined its interior. Completed the exterior roof coatings afterward.
The exterior coating system is inorganic zinc, epoxy, polyurethane, and polysiloxane clear coat.
The lining system is 100% solid novolac phenolic epoxy.
G L Stone provided full-time inspection.

OGDEN AVENUE BRIDGE

G L Stone did the quality assurance inspections during the surface preparation and coatings application on the Ogden Avenue bridge components.

The bridge was fabricated in several sections, each section was abrasive blasted and coated in a shop.
The coating system used was epoxy zinc, epoxy and polyurethane.
G L Stone provided full-time inspection.

ROBERT O. PICKARD ENVIRONMENTAL CENTRE – DIGESTER 2

G L Stone collaborated with the facility owner, the City of Ottawa, and the general contractor to do inspections during the rehabilitation of an existing concrete tank.

The inspections required the removal of the gasproof lining and the application of a new gasproof lining.
G L Stone reported directly to both partners and Ottawa’s contract administrators who provided the engineering services for the entire project.
G L Stone provided technical advice throughout the work, making frequent inspections during the coating application.

STUBBSWOOD SQUARE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE

G L Stone provided quality assurance inspection during all the critical phases of the surface preparation and coatings applications on the Stubbswood Square pedestrian bridge.

Found issues with the original galvanizing, epoxy and polyurethane coating system design, and changed it to metallizing, epoxy and polyurethane.
G L Stone offered solutions when operating beyond the initial specifications was necessary.
We ensure compliance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, industry standards and best practices.
